Rear Brake Pressure Down, No Leak?

I went to ride bike after a cold windy night, below freezing & my rear brake peddle needed to be pumped a couple of times to bring pressure up enough that brake feel was fairly good, better, but then it fell again and I pumped it again; same thing happened. I see no leaks & it's been through cold weather before (I live at 6200 ft) 2nd year in the cold, so does the master just lose a little pressure due to temp swings & I need to add some fluid? Which brand would be best to add to factory fluid?

While I'm on, I want to buy a battery charger, anyone have any experience with the Harbor Freight one.

Had that same problem with mine a couple years ago when I brought it out from winter hibernation in the spring. Had to be bled and fresh brake fluid. Thought for sure the master cylinder seals were shot. Was a cheap easy fix, BUT had to be done at the dealer as the T'birds need to be hooked up to the computer to open the ABS valves for a proper flush and bleed of the lines.
Triumph recommends flushing of the brake fluid every two years according to the manual, regardless of the mileage.

Thanks, I also need a new rear tire before next season & today it almost started before the battery ran out of enough juice to run starter, still lights up. Going to buy a trickle charger tomorrow & see if it will hold a charge, but since bike is 2014 that wasn't sold until April 2018 to the original owner I'm betting I'll need a battery too; it probably sat empty (I hope) until they prepped the bike for sale.

It had 800 miles on it when I bought it & now has 3600, it had the little rubber stubs on the side of the tires when I bought, now I need a new rear tire. I read here that some have found a better replacement tire?

Heard that if you buy the dealer tool/Scan tool software(not $), you can go in and open the ABS valves and bleed them yourself.

I recommend a trickle charger of 1 amp for motorcycle and small engine batteries. 4 amps is a bit much for a maintenance of small batteries.

I found a different one on line that has a micro processor that has a motorcycle setting & a voltage readout, temp & etc. I think it also has a battery reconditioning mode and will tell you if the battery is recoverable or dead.

. That sounds good. The one's I have has those features.

Easy job with Dealertool and will pay for itself on first use instead of high main dealer cost. Not a five minute job when done properly so you might be surprised at the labour charge! Several instructional videos on YouTube if you search. Reset the maintenance warning symbol as well as a bonus.

I got the charger & hooked it up & nothing, last week battery lit up the lights & dash, but only turned the started a few times, before clicking, but the lights & dash were still on. I took out the battery to look for a date, no luck, hooked it up to the charger & nothing, checked charger on truck & charger was functioning fine, so I guess my battery completely died in about a week? I'll reinstall today & check if bike lights up or not. Bike being a 2014, that I bought April 2019 I'm betting it's the original.

Very likely, although (assuming you bought it from a dealer) the dealer could have been proactive and changed an almost 5 year old battery before you took possession.
