Beautiful black with chrome motor cycle with low mileage. Recently refurbished and runs great. Invoices are available for serious buyers. This is a collectable for Triumph enthusiast.

Maybe I'm nit-picking, but there is nothing specifically "collectible" about that bike. It's not original, and it's not a limited edition or rare model. It IS a nice looking bike, no question. If it runs as good as it looks, it's a decent deal; not a great deal (I believe it's a bit on the high side).

I agree with grandpaul its about like my bike, 76 T140v, nice, looks good, but not rare, and not collectible, and i have to much $ in it, but its fun to ride and everybody thinks it is cool.

Last year I saw a '79 Special for sell locally. Low miles and in pristine condition. Seller wanted 4K for it. If I didn't already have my '76 in pieces, I might have jumped on it. It was gone within days.

I owned this one over 25 years ago. 10K miles all original. Mint! I had saw an ad in a local bike shop simply stating: "Triumph Bonneville for sale, Call XXX-XXXX. Imagine my surprise when it turned out to be a '79 Special! Bought it for 1500.00 (he was asking 1550.00) and sold it for the same amount a few years later. I should have kept it.. (I know.. shoulda, coulda and woulda ..)

$1,500.

Yeef!

I'd give $1,750 for it, easy!!

Wonderful thing hindsight. We've all done it 2 Suzuki GS750's and an FJ1200. Why I ask myself did I sell them ??
