2003 Bonneville fuel tap

I know there's been a bit of discsussion about replacemet fuel taps (petcocks) such as Pringle for my 2003 Bonneville but has anyone made a threaded adapter plate (to fit to the tank) to receive an early model petrol tap?

When I bought my '06 Bonneville it was all over the internet to replace the fuel tap with a Pringle.
My factory petcock (fuel tap) has worked fine for 14 years - so unless it's giving you a problem, I would leave it alone.

Thanks Rocky but it's been leaking and it's not getting any better. New standard taps are hard to find in Oz and a mechanic suggested this as an option. Makes sense to me, just gotta find someone who's good at maching things.
