I bought this bike as a non runner from a friend. It was driven into a garage and left for nearly two years, after which it refused to start. There are no fault codes on the diagnostics, it has a good spark and it runs briefly when I drop a little fuel into the inlet ports. The fuel pump works and the injectors pulse fuel when I put power direct to them. All the wiring between injectors and ECM is sound. I have removed and bypassed the alarm, which seemed to be faulty. The side stand and neutral sensors work fine.
The only possible faults I found on the diagnostics were that is doesn't seem possible to reset the throttle position sensor (the reset TPS option is greyed out) and the TPS icon on the dashboard only goes up to about 60% when I fully open the throttle.
Any ideas out there? What would cause everything to work apart from the instruction to fire the injectors? Is it going to be the ECM? Thanks Andrew
