All I have done is remove carbs cleaned bowls and blown out! Now after refit backfires through carb and rough idle. No AI blanked off and not adjusted anything. Is this air leak on inlet somewhere? Does removing throttle sensor nad fitting in wrong place make a difference on a carb model? Bike worked fine before what have I done?

Yes the throtle sensor is set to mesure fuel air mixture even on carb modles , it tells the ecu were the slide is and how much air is being taken in .

Thanks for reply but I thought the sensor was more for injection systems what use could it be for carbs?

It is also connected to the ignition system timing for the advance and retard which is adjusted to coincide with fuel air mixture .

Thank you will have a look at it and see if I can adjust! I have seen on U tube many ways of adjusting it.
Thanks again
