Booster Plug

no, not in my time with the bike (had it since March 2011, actually I am the only owner, it was the dealer's demo model for its first 18 months)

It’s my understanding that the newer bikes , mine is a 16 Thruxton , have enough range in the ECU to adjust to a decat . The decat will certainly make things run cooler and smoother even without the Booster Plug or at least that was my experience .

I had a 05 Rocket III with the decel pop after fitting TORs silencers in 09 and used a Tuneboy to adjust the L tables to get rid of it. The decel pop occurs at the last 6% of throttle and I added about 15% more fuel there on the maps and that pretty much cured it. TuneECU and DNK Tuneworks can do the same thing, you just need to know where and how in those programs you have to modify tables.
