Have just bought a Sprint GT 17'000 miles. When putting in first gear it's clunkier than a Honda. I've driven tractors with smoother boxes. Is this normal for the 1050 gearbox ?
Tried adjusting gear lever, clutch cable etc. No difference.. Any tips

My Bonnivilles and my Tiger always clunk into first gear. Use a good, motorcycle specific synthetic oil and it will reduce the clunk. Having not heard or felt your your bike, I can't say whether it is normal or not.

My wifes honda VFR1200x is fairly clunky in comparison to my Trophy. Maybe try the OLD KLR Shuffle to break the cluctch plates free of each other before starting it.
