Does anyone know of a driver's backrest option for a 2020 Speedmaster? Thanks.

Hi
I fitted a saddle mens seat with back rest on to my 2013 America, it was a game changer, it had gel for both rider and pillion, very comfortable seat and supportive of my lower back, it fitted the speedy also, I don't know if that seat would fit the current speed master though.

Probably not.

Where did you get that seat and what is the name of the manufacturer? Thank you

It was very comfortable . I bought it secondhand from a lad on ebay, he was selling his bike and trying to recoup some money from the accessories. The seat is made by Saddlemen in America, I think they cost about £700 five years ago I got it for £450 and sold it five years later for the same.

Thank you. Will look into it. I have a '14 America and wish the seat was back just 2 inches.

Thank you for the Saddleman web page ! Did the seat move you back at all. My only issue is that the stock seat makes me feel as if Iam too close to the tank and I am just 6' 200 lbs.

I honestly cannot remember about the distance from the tank, as it uses two of the same fixing points I would imagine the geometry would be much the same

There is a company called saddlecraft, they advertise that the can alter your seat, build in gel inserts etc, perhaps they could help, I recall them saying to phone for advice and prices.

Its the bolster in the back of the seat that needs to be cut out a bit. Thank you for your input.

I am 5 foot 4 and I also feel I would like to move back on the seat a bit. I notice the seating position encourages straight arms to the bars. Therein lies the problem. I bend my arms down a bit and the comfort returns

The bars can be adjusted but I just feel my center of gravity is a bit forward. After 20 miles Iam Fine and after 250 I get off feeling great. So it's not uncomfortable just the initial awkwardness. New seat, fix old or get over myself. We shall see

Have a look at the Utopia backrests, fit on to your existing seat with some modifications.

Anyone have an idea of cost? I will try to contact them.....The Mad Mongoose....OUT!
