What are you plugging into which of the 5 outlets?
Under seat, usb, 2 amp, switched - anyone run an extension to the tank bag (for phone charging?)
Front accessory, DIN, 10 amp, not switched
Rear accessory by seatlock, DIN, is it 5 or 10 amp (see other thread), switched
Dealer installed on the frame, SAE, 7.5 amp, direct to battery
Things I want to add....phone, GPS, heated jacket liner (6.4 amp draw), volt meter and eventually after-market led lights for conspicuity. So, how are you using all of these possiblities?

Hope someone with experience chimes in! My motorcycle is minimal everything. LoL.

On my T120, I have a USB connection under the seat. However the USB plug was bad. I had power to the plug but nothing coming out of the plug. Therefore since this power was switched I decided to use it to power my LED driving lights. I wired the PIAA light switch to this power source.

I have a battery tender cable wire directly to my battery. I have a USB adapter and fuse that I plug into this battery tender plug to run my cell phone.

Is it a tiger , year ?

2023 Tiger 900 GT Low - so far I'm leaning towards using the SAE plug that is wired directly to the battery for my heated jacket liner.
I agree with that choice.

Go to forums , tiger 900 , January 2022 , there is some stuff in there that will help . For the gps recommendation , from my experience , the original cigar lighter style plug must be used , mine is connected through the left rear switchable wiring with a 3$ female plug tapped into the little plug that goes to the rear seat outlet . My gps never drains the battery . My heated gear goes direct to the battery .
In the past the front Din plug has proven to be very unreliable and of course it is not switchable. I am sure I still have a nice 90 Degree Optimate plug that fits the front . The straight ones obstruct handle bar movements , nfg . Optimate stuff is high quality and not over priced IMHO . On my TTR I can charge the phone with the stock under seat set up but since I traded my i 6 model for a 13 there is no need AF9E6D41-35F1-45E4-825F-40303EF4C8EC.jpegthis an Optimate Charger . 2 milli amps or there abouts for USB applications .

I use a "Fuzeblock" (brand name) on my Rally Pro. It sits nicely in the tray that held the toolkit. It has 6 taps, each of which can be wired to be always on or on when the key is on. I have auxiliary lights, GPS, jacket, gloves, and charging pigtail all wired into it. Works great.

I did same on my Suzuki V-Strom. Works great and adds lots of flexibility for add-ons.

Thanks, guys. I will try this. Much appreciated. TUP
