Hey,
would really appreciate if somebody will share their experience.
My triumph is generally fine (2013) but unexpectedly stopped on the 6th gear after I dropped gas knob (probably it always did it that moment)
And it kept on stopping during the day of driving (was a long trip).
After one night rest it seems the problem had gone.
But can’t understand the reason.

Did it start right up or did you have to let the engine cool?

Firstly it didn’t start straightaway, I waited for a while. (The weather was extremely hot). Next time it started straightaway after I have just moved it forward and back. After one night rest it started without manipulations and I traveled for about 1000km without trouble. But in some days it happened once again.

You may have a part that’s weak or failing. Hard to say unless it becomes more consistent. I had a pickup coil fail and it started by cutting out after the engine warmed up. Ran fine after it cooled down. Once the engine warmed up again it kill the engine.

Thanks, it seems that temperature is the key in my case as well. I assumed that there might be a kind of technical peculiarity

Keep following it and see when it starts. Mine started cutting off after about 20 minutes of riding. The engine would warm up and the pickup coil would heat up. Once it cooled back down it worked again until it warmed up again. Tell us what you find and if it repeats consistently. This wouldn’t be something that just goes away though until the part is replaced. So if yours has gone away it may not be this.
