Keep th high pipes, they are proper for a Scrambler.
For some, some scramblers run low exhaust Ducati for one. Hi exhaust is fine back in the day when I was a boy it wasn't a catalytic converter burning your leg up

One of our other members did the Zard exhaust a while back.
Lots of info on the 1200s in the 900 section still as this sub forum was just recently created

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve never had an issue with heat from my Scrambler (unlike the Harley Sporster I had that left a permanent burn mark on the inside of my lower leg).

I agree that the Scrambler high pipe is more aesthetically pleasing and plan on going that route, not knocking the low pipe and do see its benefits but it’s just not for me.

My wife’s 2015 Ducati Urban Enduro Scrambler has a lower pipe, it works good for her although changing the oil is a pain in the ass (gotta remove the majority of the exhaust system to access a cylindrical pre-filter).

Hondas new CL500 has a seriously Fugly setup that starts low then goes high. Looked at one for the wife and quickly realized it looks like her Ducati with Honda badging and a seriously Fugly pipe.
