My 2016 XCA has the factory aluminum side cases and the front locking latches do not turn green (the right side is actually half red/half green) when they latch/lock. The cases feel loose when they are locked, and if I push them toward the bike, the indicators turn green. Is there something to adjust on the locking latches?

The first two pictures are what they look like as they sit, locked on the bike.

This last picture is when I push the case in towards the bike

Any help would be appreciated

No adjustment needed , you do need to give them a good push in towards the bike , but it is a good idea to give the laches and locks a spray in wd40 every now and again .

Mine were like that on the left side once. the bike had fallen over in soft ground and bent the pannier a bit, so it wouldn't fully latch onto the frame mount. Straightened the pannier out and no issues now. Do as Shane suggested and lubricate them from time to time if you haven't already.
Are your panniers straight and without any damage?

They have slight damage, but it's not really noticeable. I'll see if I can tap it out. Thanks.

Does not take much to prevent them from fully engaging on the latches/locks.
