For context I ride an ‘18 Speedmaster

Me and a few buddies rode from Valley Forge,PA to the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville. We rode out rte 30. Once past York it was great. Anyway, just writing that to share a great ride.

When we were coming back my bike felt “grindy” or “rough” when I would back off the throttle to slow down. It’s tough to describe but I’m wondering if anyone else has felt something like this and what it may be. Bike only has 3000 miles and I just got it a month ago w tuneup etc at 2000 miles. Going to check the chain and oil but any insight or experience would be appreciated.

Circling back to this. Lubed the chain and it’s running great again. Thought I’d start w the easy fix and go bigger from there. Was at about 1000 miles since I got the bike. At least I get the idea of frequency for lubing the chain
