First Time Triumph Owner.

Bought a 2022 street triple rs about a month ago with less than half a mile on it. Already over 2500 miles. My last bike(kawasaki) I changed my oil every 3-5k miles depending on the riding I was doing. I've read that the triumph is every 6 or 8k miles. Is that correct?

What does your owners manual suggest? It can usually be found under the seat.

First is 5 or 6 hundred. My Street Twin calls for every 10,000. I do it every 5,000.

These figures that Vector has kindly quoted are miles not kilometres so changing oil every 5k miles should provide sufficient peace of mind.

Never hurts to change oil more frequently. Congrats on the ride!

Triumph's service interval is 10K miles(16K kms) for it's modern bikes.
First service is 500 miles(800 kms), and 10,000 mile intervals thereafter.
I would never run anything on the same oil for 10,000 miles myself, either, and usually put on about 8K kms so I change the oil before storing my bike for winter.
Also @Greyfell stated correctly that the maintenance schedule will be in your owner's manual, and some bikes may be different in their schedules, so best to consult that.

Only three countries in the world haven’t officially adopted it and the other two are third world jobbies. You will eventually get there because all of your imports will have been manufactured using SI units.
