Hi. I'm new to this and was installing the Rox riser to raise the handle bars up. The front brake line that goes from the front brake reservoir had to be disconnected in order to reroute that brake line. I had trouble screwing it back in and it didn't seem to go in all the way and was tight. I didn't want to force it but I seem to have stripped the bolt head a little. What is the size it of it and thread size? When unscrewing it, my 14mm wrench seemed to fit, but when I looked up the part on a couple websites, it says it's a M10 x 21. Is this correct? Also, if I had stripped the threading inside (knock on wood I didn't) I need to know the thread size.

Thanks!

Sounds like it might be cross threaded. Only the dealer would have the correct bolt for that or the correct thread size, pitch and length. Have to remove and inspect threads in master cylinder. Usually the bolts are harder than the cast master cylinder so hopefully that's not stripped or you may need a new one. Wish could be more helpful but without the service manual..............

Thanks! Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. Figured I should just replace the master cylinder to be safe, so I called a dealership in my town. Luckily, it's not crazy expensive, $90 appx.
