Been out enjoying the sun, returning from a trip the 3ta was in 4th, I tried changing down through the gearbox but it seems stuck. I limped home slipping the clutch a bit.
The bike will start on the stand but still won't change gear at all. Is it serious??

Im no expert on the older bikes but i would say a selector has jammed or has jumped the groove on the selector drum .

You have a worn part or broken spring in the selector assembly, take the transmission cover off and it should become evident straight away...

Very many thanks for that, I'm hoping it's not more serious!
