Just got back from a 500 mile trip to Calaveras Big Trees and ran into a fellow Tiger 900 that had a nifty license plate frame with flashing brake lights. I've seen a few of those options, but was also thinking of slapping a strip of LEDs on the rear top case (which is at car height) and tying into the blinkers or at least the brake light. Anyone done this?
I've done the official Givi V47 light kit before, but obv won't work on my Givi Trekker Alaska series Alu luggage. I don't want to spend $100+ for these UNIVERSAL TOP CASE, BI-COLOR KIT - AdMore Lighting Inc.
and I don't really want to drill the cases. Open to any suggestions, Thanks!

I've done it to one front indicator. One more at front to do, then onto rear pair.

I've removed halogen bulb, bulb holder. Made a little plate (card template shown).

Indicators (will) have now two LEDs. Orange LEDs to signal a turn. Second LEDs are white at front (daytime riding), red at back (braking).

My brake light by licence plate will then become an extra-bright riding light.

Enough brightness to illuminate a stadium. If car drivers miss that, then there's no hope, I give up.

Way late to this tread, but I bought one of those (night rider strips like 20$ or so) that also has several flashes before going solid option/wire (did not hook up the night rider light wire illegal in most states while on the road). I mounted this to a piece of house siding corner that I cut to fit it holds the light down slightly and facing the rear ie 90 degrees and counted it under the top box rack at the back where it is protected - so it is a few inches higher than the stock rear light. It works great and is much easier to see than the one piece running / break light that most bikes have. I did it on my current bike and will most likely be one of the first things I do to my tiger.
