This weekend (13-14), the UK’s premier biking festival returns to the East of England Showground in Peterborough to delight motorcycle fans with the biggest demo fleet of new bikes available to see anywhere in the UK!
The Carole Nash Festival of Motorcycling has managed to secure an amazing selection of test bikes from the worlds biggest biking brands.
Ducati will be showcasing the Supersport and the Scrambler Desert Sled, Kawasaki will bring the Ninja 650 and Z900 whilst KTM will be showing off the 690 Duke and a number of bikes from their Super Adventure range.
And there’s more! Triumph will have the Street Triple RS and the Bobber as part of their test fleet, the MotoGP inspired GSX-R1000 will form part of Suzuki’s line-up and the all-new YZF-R6 heads up a range of bikes from Yamaha. Test rides are strictly on a first-come first-served basis and visitors are invited to take their pick as test rides are included in the cost of their ticket.
Of course, this is a festival for all ages and the entertainment is plentiful across the site. There will be stunt action to entertain the crowds plus a full round of the DTRA (Dirt Track Riders Association) championships in the Maxxis Speedway arena.
MCE British Superbike legend Chris Walker will be taking to the dirt as he competes in the Hooligan Flat-track races – watching 750cc+ machines on road tyres scream around the speedway oval is something not to be missed!
Day tickets and camping packages are now on sale and children go free (15 yrs and under)! For more information about the Carole Nash MCN Festival of Motorcycling and to book tickets visit www.mcnfestival.com or call 0871 230 1108.
