A buddy and I, Alan Spears, did a 201.6 mile ride to Sebring for an MSTA South breakfast at Dimitri's Restaurant, Pizza Kitchen and Its 5 O'clock Somewhere Bar. It was cool when we started out at 0630, 77F/25C, Rocky, that is cool for us this time of year!
Great breakfast choices and I was surprised to find scrapple on the menu. I couldn't find any takers to try it. I had two eggs over easy with grits, a sausage patty and two pancakes with rye toast. Eighteen folks turned out for the breakfast.
We went down there via I4 to US 27. We came back using back roads from Sebring to Haines City. Nice country roads with hills, lakes and curves. By the time we hit the I4 "parking lot" through Orlando with its stop and go traffic, the temp had climbed to 92F/33C. I was glad to get home to the A/C. 92F is normal for us this time of year.
I was hoping KeysTiger could meet us there; but he had to work.
