Re: Triumph New Model Launch!

yep i think it will be the trophy ! but you never know !

Re: Triumph New Model Launch!

I'm not looking for a new bike but my tip is it's a new Street Triple. The reason is that the new ST has been seen about longer than the other new bikes that are on the way.

Re: Triumph New Model Launch!

Well what ever it is I am sure it will turn out to be a winner once again.

Re: Triumph New Model Launch!

thats for sure dave ! DROOL

Re: Triumph New Model Launch!

Yeah.....I do believe it will be either the new Daytona or the Street Triple ANGER

Re: Triumph New Model Launch!

I don't think it will be the Trophy. I don't believe the Trophy has undergone emissions testing yet. I wish it would be. However the Street Triple is a big seller for Triumph.

Re: Triumph New Model Launch!

California ticks me off!!

But beside that.....the Trophy MOTOR has already passed.

Ok I merged the two threads and moved them here TUP

It probably will be a great bike, but, from those photos it's butt ugly.

Triumph has made it official and released the new 1215cc Trophy which will be available in North America in January 2013.

I can now see from that shot why they are calling it a BMW.

14,000.00 pounds is $22,348.00 Canadian dollars at today's exchange rate.
I'm not in the market for one anyway, but that's a lot of money for a bike :y13: unless you plan to do a lot of long distance riding.
But then there are a lot of Goldwings around here that don't go very far from home and are more of a status thing than real riding.
As far as the BMW look goes, motorcycle design has its limits without going wild and losing the traditional motorcycle look.
There is bound to be much similarity. Just look at the cars now. Nearly all of them look the same with the round shape for aerodynamics and gas mileage.
