Installed M bars yesterday. The stock bars were just too high for me, couldn't get comfortable in the corners and too upright for the highway. I like to lean into the wind a bit, so the stock bars had to go.
I always liked the looks of M bars and what goes with M bars? A monza gas cap of course. Got them both from New Bonneville.
The end caps weren't coming off of the stock bars without a fight, so they had to be replaced. I didn't have another set so I decided to get creative and made some from some guitar volume knobs.
The M bars were a great improvement, fits me almost like the bike was made for me. Handling feels so much better.
