Took part in my first track day at Killarney yesterday - very professionally organized and run with good briefings and debriefings, well done to the responsible team.
Riding the Speedie there was an absolute blast ...
This is what my rear tyre looked like, after I'd already done the gentle 35-odd kms back home ...
The Pirelli Super Corsa's took some strain, don't think I'll be doing too many track days.
The new HP Corse exhaust sounded superb but popped quite a lot under off-throttle braking, guess I might have to go for that Arrow tune after all.
I had a great time and learned a lot about myself and my bike. I can highly recommend these track days to anyone who wants to improve their riding skills.
The Valter Moto rear sets will have to wait, three weeks to go before the JD Rally so I'm concentrating on the '36 Tiger 80. Will post some more on this in the Classics forum.
