I want to find yellow helmet that closely matches the “racing yellow” color of the Thruxton. What options am I looking at? Are there helmet manufacturers that provide a custom color option? There are a few helmets out there that seem to be close, but I’m not sure of their quality. Quality is something I don’t want to sacrifice. Thoughts?

I stand to be corrected, but as far as I know there are no manufacturers that provide custom colors.

I would recommend Cycle Gear or RevZilla.com to make your purchase, but here is a site for browsing, and I narrowed to search down to *solid yellow* helmets for sport bikes: J&P Cycles.com

Could always try a decal place for a vinyl wrap. They have that in MANY colors, so should be able to get something close.

That’s certainly an idea.

So I bought a helmet and it’s not yellow. I went for a helmet with Snell rating and allowed for slipping in glasses. It is comfortable and I wore it for twenty minutes in the store while looking at riding gloves and boots. Interestingly the manufacturer provided guidelines for painting. It’s the Signet-X model.
