I posted I had installed the baffle earlier this week and today got my first ride with it installed, I let son-in-law Tom take lead with his 2010 Speed Triple 1050 and between his exhaust (Arrow) and mine I was getting the same note in stereo. After two and a half hours of riding on highways, streets, back roads and residential areas the noise level out of the Racefit can is now tolerable. My ears aren't ringing like I just left a Deep Purple concert (although the loudest concert I've ever attended was Emerson, Lake, and Palmer (only concert I've been to that could be rated in pain level)). I'm not saying it's quiet, just not any louder than the aftermarket pipes on Tom's 1050 and that's a GINORMOUS improvement over the open can. I don't feel any loss of power delivery and when opened up it still howls like a Lynx kicked in the scrotum with a steel tipped cowboy boot That's way better than the scream of twisted tits of the Banshee like before. I was also commenting to Tom during the ride that of all my bikes the seat on the Triple is the most comfortable, beating my Bobber's Tom Hurley custom, T-120's board and Thruxton R's Tamarit by a mile. The seat on my Trophy goes flat after a few hours but is close to the same as the Triple for the first couple hours. Wouldn't have thought that would be the case, but there it is. Gotta say it's fast becoming my favorite weekend ride. I still enjoy the Bobber and the others, just the Triple has so much more of everything I like.
