Rusty Spokes 2016/17 Thruxton

Hello all

I have a 2016/17 Thruxton, bought Sept 2017 and washing it today, I noted rust marks on the leading edges of many of the spokes. Giving them a clean show pit marks in the chrome (assume they are chromed). Considering t is not 12 months old yet, thought this was very poor.
Anybody else have similar.

I live in Darwin Oz and have not ridden in heavy rain, or off road (any dirt roads), in fact very little other than dry days, every day is around 34 c, washed it about four times only, and it is kept under cover out of the weather.

Going to see the dealer on Tuesday, but any body else had this??

Well this is a bit poor and the dealer should sort this out for you, welcome to the forum BTW

Went to the dealer, he said he could rub the rust off with steel wool and that rust is not covered under warranty. Looked at the warranty, does say that rust is not covered if it is fair wear and tear, so 9 months is certainly not that. Wrote to Triumph, waiting a reply.
