This thread is all about some of the mods you might have done on your scrambler.

Nice one TUP

Fitted a Booster Plug to my Scrambler and has massively improved throttle response and slow running.

Has anyone swapped out the gear lever with a folding one? I remember someone saying that the Scrambler gear lever was exactly the same as a common dirt bike, but I can't remember which one.

Cheers

Got my 2017 Scrambler a few weeks ago and working on it since I got it. It is starting to look good ! It started as a stock bike, did a few things to it and hopefully it'll end up looking like the last picture ...

I bought mine used from the original owner. 2012. He had put on before it was even delivered to him...Arrow exhaust, Works Performance rear shocks, skid plate, engine guards, rear fender/light from Italy...can’t remember the name and a lowered handlebar(black). He hated chrome.

So far I’ve put the original shocks back on to see if I can feel a difference. So far I noticed it bottoms out faster. The handlebars are next as they feel too aggressive...feels like I’m driving my old ZRX1100. Also trying to locate a circlip to install the baffle.

I have a new windshield I bought for another bike which I’ve already sold. I’ll put it on and see what it looks like and how effective it is.

I need to dismantle the headlight as it’s foggy on the inside.

During the winter I might get the rims powered coated black.

2017 Black Triumph Scrambler 900.

First thing I did was remove those tall Dumbo ear mirrors.

( I have them in my garage if anyone needs a pair)

Removed the gas cap and put on a black one.

(Have in garage if anyone needs)

Removed the rear fender and put on a small rear brake light kit with integrated brake light and directionals in it.

(Sold fender)

Put Tiny Moto lights in the rear tubes for the directionals so they could bring more attention to my rear when turning.

Changed rear springs to Thruxton black springs. 1 1/4 inch lower.

(have original springs in garage in case anyone wants them)

Changed out front springs to Progressive springs and lowered the forks 1 1/4 inch to match the back end.

Changed out the handlebars to something flatter.

(have the originals if anyone wants them)

Changed out the grips, and levers.

Added mirror screw in block offs.

Put in light up bar ends that are daytime running lights and directionals.

Put on a yellow film on the headlight and a rock guard cover over the headlight.

Moved the rectifier.

Put on a TEC 2 in 1 High Desert exhaust.

I just painted the bottom rock guard a black with a high temp spray paint also.....

Got my 2017 Scrambler a few weeks ago and working on it since I got it. It is starting to look good ! It started as a stock bike, did a few things to it and hopefully it'll end up looking like the last picture ...

It's already a great looking bike.

Love the bar end lights.
Do you find the Rockblocker or Luminex film on the head light dulls it any at night?

Those bar end lights are cool.

Thank you.
Lumina film. I find the yellow light helps the light disperse even better actually. I am OK with even annoying other drivers to the point as to where they actually see me too! "Am I annoying you? Great! Don't run me over. Thank you".

Thank you. Another way of hoping people see me. Plus I hated the Dumbo ear huge directionals that came with the bike so I scrapped them.

Ok....Here ya go. Insomnia put me in the garage around 1:45am for some reason last night. Decided to sit on the floor and put these pedals on.

I have not ridden the bike yet. Got em off E-Bay for $86 dollars for the pair. I like the look better than the "JOKER" style. I like the 1/2 price of them also. 5 minutes each side to put on. Blue Loctite to make sure everything stays at the right angles.

Shipping was less than 3 days to get across the country. The person who handles questions on the E-Bay listing answered my questions quickly and even looked at pics I sent him to confirm they will fit my 2017.

Will take it out for a spin today.

I don't own this company or represent them in any way. Here is their E-Bay info in case you find yourself more curious or want to try them for yourself.

I like all the mods!

I like the looks of those Shinko's. I wanted to try them on my Tiger; but Shinko did not make an 804/805 to fit my front rim at the time. So I went with Metzeler Karoo 3's. The Karoo's look much like the Shinko's. Your Scrambler is beautiful. Let us know how you like the Shinko;s.
