Speed twin collar removal

Hi all I'm trying to fit a decat from tec parts but I'm stuck with the collars the speed twin has a balance pipe and I cant get them off to remove the exhaust the thurxton which has most videos on does I believe has a balance pipe up high do you need to completely remove both side of the exhaust thanks for any advice .

After several hours of fun and the samaritans help line I worked out what to do and I was wrong the thurxton has the same link,balance pipe doh.
