The morons at the dealer did not bother to set the one year service date. I am getting a service due in 28 days message and a service display.
I know I can not clear the wrench symbol without Service Tool .
My question is if I change the current date setting will it clear the service display?

I dont think so ? .. Triumph are a F***ing pain in the A** with there service lights , I had to buy a tool to reset the service light on my tiger ! as you can tell it realy makes me ANGRY

How much does the service tool cost? Might be a worthwhile gadget to have if it can reset the gremlin light.

I bought the healteck unit its about £85 but its very easy to use and dose the job .

Sounds like money well spent!
Not only does the dealer tool require a Windows PC ( I am a Mac user) I will not spend that much to just turn off the service indication. I would not use it for anything else.

I went with TuneECU and reset the service wrench and the service date at the same time on my Speed Triple RS (even tho it has a TFT screen). TuneECU also provides real time data on engine performance and can be used for a host of other jobs like finding DTC errors and fixing them. When I switched to wave rotors on my Thruxton R the ABS error code came up. I found the speed ring had moved too close to the sensor pickup and was not getting a proper signal. After putting a shim under the sensor pickup I used the TuneECU interface to reset the ABS fault and all was good. I probably could have just let it time out but having a tool to turn the light off is too handy not to use. It works for me, it may not be everyone's cuppa joe.

I thought of TuneECU but it also requires Windows OS.

If memory serves I believe the new Rockets require the Android version of Tune ECU i.e. blue tooth enabled using a OBD LinkLX or above. I could be wrong.

I know I’ve bought tools for my cars that were standalone devices and don’t require a separate computer. Might take searching, but likely a few out there to choose from.

The healteck resets the spanner and date and you can also set at a certain milage if you want to , it takes 10 seconds and covers many models of triumph depending on year .

I looked at their website. I assume Maintenance Mate is the device I need. It appears to be plug and play, no PC required.
Looking at the compatibility it does not list the Rocket.

I found the Rocket GT and older models in the list.

As did I when you search for the tool that clears the service indicator, it doesn’t list the rocket

Yes the maintenance mate is what you want and it is plug and play , its a shame that they've not done the rocket yet.
But im aware that they are working on some for a lot of the newer triumphs at the moment , fingers crossed its out soon .

Probably in the works. With the Rocket's popularity you'd think they would have jumped on that sooner. If you know someone with a TuneECU and an open license you can have them do it up for you. I would but I filled all five licenses between my bikes and my son-in-law.

UPDATE:
I looked again and a Rocket GT Maitnenace Mate is available: for the 2021 and 2022 model years and the same tool number. Is the ECU system entirely different for the 2023 model?

Perhaps they did not update their website, thx. I'll need to wait for Spring, I had to drop $6500 on new hearing aids today.

Am I the only one who misses the days when a good ear was all you needed to diagnose problems with your mechanical systems? Yes performance was not as good but it still went fast enough to kill you. My $6500 hearing aids are not working for me.

I worked for a car shop owner that tuned his customers 12 cylinder Ferrari by ear, it had 6 2 barrel carburetors, 3 each side, two alternators and just about two of everything. It was like two six cylinder engines mated together and he could tune it just by listening to the engine. LoL. It was impressive.
