Triumph Tiger Sport Splutter.

Good evening all, the problem I'm having is my triumph tiger 1050 splutters I 5th & 6th gear at 7000 rpm, runs fine except for this issue, iv changed plugs, checked coils, air filter all good etc . Would be grateful for any input, regards Mick .

There is a fuel filter in the tank on the fuel pump or check your side stand switch and clutch switch are not sticking or faulty .

Yeah iv fitted new pump filter & checked stand , all good , runs great except in 5th 6th @ 7000& above rpm . Thanks for input

It sounds like its ether fuel starvation ( ie, low pump pressure ) or weak spark at those high rpm in high gears ( maybe low generator output ) , as thats when the motor is under the most pressure .
I would have your fuel injectors checked and your fuel pump output checked , as well as your generator output to see if its putting enough charge out at high rpm .

Just a few things you could have a look at ... godd luck with it .

Good morning, after alot of head scratching and dismantling my Tiger 1050 ,I've solved the sputtering issue in 5th,6th gear . I've disconnected the roll over valve & the bike is better & stronger than ever ,thanks for input & messages from those who replied, safe riding .
