Went out today to deal with a Engine Management Trouble light on my '13 T-Bird with my Samsung Galaxy and TuneECU. Took both my cable and my OBDLinkLX and connected to the bikes ECU with both. So good so far. Sadly the upper left hand corner of the page had TuneECU (Unregistered) and so could not connect and perform any tasks. Went to the 3 dots hit License and the whole nine yards and nothing will change the Unregistered. I updated and still no go. I'm thinking the program isn't linking to the web, even tho the tablet shows it's connected. Is there anyway to see if the program is linked to the web?
 
OK, got it sorted. I had to renew the license, i.e. pay for a year. All better now, so will see to the T-Bird this morning.

Use the artist's palette (click on the 3 dots just to the right of the TT in the header of your message, as you are entering your message. Thanks, but I got the T-Bird DTC errors erased, no worries. Took it out for an hour ride to see if they would pop back on and dash is still clear. Now I have to sort the fueling.

While I was checking the ECU over this morning I looked at Tests and Adjustments and found the Idle Stepper Control Valve was not in spec for voltage. On my ride the bike had a nasty little stumble every once in awhile that could be related to the TPS, although the TPS voltage was in spec. Will have to investigate further, good thing I have some spare bikes to play with. I also odered up new tires yesterday as the ones on this bike look a bit thin.
 
Glad you worked it out! License fees sneak up you! Glad my Triumph is a bit more “archaic” for those programs. LoL.

Also check the MAP sensor tubes. Have a habit of disconnecting and causing stumbling, rough running issues. Known problem with the T'birds.
At least you can access your ECU. The ones on my T'bird were locked and only Triumph could access them on the LT and Commander models.

Will do. I'm planning on installing a 20363 Map as well to account for the Hogslayers and see if that can tame some of the decel pop.
 
UPDATE: Checked the TPS voltage and it was in spec, but the ISCV voltage was off by .4 volts. Adjusted the stepper nut until it was within .02 of tolerance. Will see how that works. Currently I'm downloading the bike's current tune in the ECU to a folder in TuneECU as a backup if the new tune is worse than the current one. So far looking better as far as the electronic goes.
 
UPDATE: After reprogramming the ECU with an updated file for aftermarket pipes the bike runs better. The idle is smoother too after adjusting the ISCV to spec. I tested the unit after adjustment and it's all good. Took a short ride and the power is better down low, however my decel pop isn't cured. I can live with some pop but if it's too annoying I'll up the fuel for the last 6% of throttle this winter to tame it down. All in all a good days work.
 
UPDATE: I had the Barometric Sensor trip again (original fault), and then again after reset and retune, so a new sensor is on order from Adept.
