Hi there,
Anyone can suggest how I can power an iphone using the auxiliary socket SkU A9828041 ?
Thanks,Tolga

I have fitted this to the Striple. Handlebar mounted USB A for my iPhone and USB C for my Insta360 X4 camera. As the OE USB port under the seat won’t be used anymore I took my power supply from there by piggybacking off of the existing terminals as they are only live when the ignition is on.

Nice and neat, fits in really well with what’s already on the bars. At £14 it’s reasonably priced as well.

I just ran a cord from the underseat usb port under the gas tank to my QuadLock charger. $10 and ten minutes for the cord. QuadLock slightly pricier…

Is the cord for power supply? In the UK the Quadlock USB charger is twice the cost of the device I fitted to the bars of my Striple.

Yes, the cable is power supply.

I’ve got the cable (USB A to USB C) feeding the quite pricey wireless charging head from QuadLock. I also added the vibration dampener to the assembly. Been using it for 2 years now (roughly 20,000 km) and quite happy with it. Whenever I upgrade my iPhone 11 Pro I’ll continue with the QuadLock system.

The USB device you’ve added to your Striple is on sale here in Canada on Amazon, I’m seriously thinking of getting one for my wifes Ducati Scrambler…for the price it mighbe worth getting 2 just in case I need it down the road.

I’m also a fan of the Chubby Buttons remote for riding, those big buttons are super easy to use for volume control when I wear my AirPods on occasion. The Chubby Button has held up well in cold and rain as well (I’ve use them at the ski hill to cut out chattering on the lifts- sorta antisocial at times).

Currently 1C, it was a chilly ride when I went for groceries and mail…

A charging port of some type is one of the few modern conveniences I wouldn’t mind adding. Not so much to have use during riding, but recharging a phone to keep it emergency ready.

With the one I have fitted to my machine, see previous post, whilst riding I use the USB A to keep my iPhone one the Quadlock mount fully charged and ditto for the USB C to keep my Insta360 X4 4 topped up.

That’s likely a wise strategy.
