Just read an exhausting thread posted by a member about being disappointed that the Bonnie he just bought new in the US was manufactured in Thailand. There was a lot of back and forth about what is and isn't made at Hinkley and how much of the manufacturing or assembly is done in Thailand.
One or two members commented that they believed that the Triples and RIII engines / trannys are still made in the UK and sent to and assembled in Thailand, while all twins are manufactured in Thailand.
Does anyone have the real skinny on where the 2008 Tiger 1050 I recently bought was actually made; just curious? In any event, the fit and finish seem excellent.
