Just before Engine Ponies' big Sister, Injun Pony turned 18 & it was time for her to leave Home.
That's my 2012 (I bought from a dealer new in 2014) as my 'backup' bike, in the background behind my Triumph Speedmaster (which took me solo from Pahrump, Nevada (via Los Angeles) to St. Augustine,Fl & back through tremendous storms & never missed a lick). The 'Bullet' would cruise at 85 from San Diego to Riverside (just before the limiter hit) after I carefully broke her in for the 1st 2500 miles. She's only got 3000 miles on her now & is my only bike, as I donated the Triumph to a childrens charity (in tremendous shape), when it no longer became viable for me to travel all over 'heck' anymore. If I dump her in loose gravel after a blind turn, or am on top of an oil slick right when I have to hit the breaks, I can easily pick her up. When I'm through with my practical & cosmetic 'mods', I will post her new pic. She's great for puttin' around & is a crowdpleaser. I'm 74 & just could not give up motorcycling, eh ?
